What Sets Us Apart? Empathy and Cultural Understanding
Among the major barriers for treatment are lack of access to culturally informed mental health treatment and the gaping demand for understanding the unique mental health needs of those communities. Cultural challenges get in the way, and anxiety as well as stigma prevent people from reaching out. Our diverse team of respondents understands those cultural challenges and struggles. As the organization works to develop specialized care services, our aim is for individuals to begin their journey to healing through this helpline with culturally informed and trained respondents.
